Radiation Therapist
- About Facility:
- 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157
- 885 licensed beds
- Level 1 Trauma Designation
- Teaching Hospital: Yes, Academic Medical Center
- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
- Department Information:
- Census? Average patients/day? 75-95 per day
- Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year required
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? No must have completed at least 1 contract (13)
- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- All types of cancers
- 3 mo. to geriatric
- Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
- BLS
- ARRT-RT
- Skills required:
- Elekta and Mosaiq experience
- Support within the Department:
- Leadership
- Lead Tech
- 2 Therapists per patient
- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: Mosaiq
- Floating: If yes, where?
- Not outside of department
- Orientation (facility and unit):
- NEO
- Up to 1 week departmental dependent on experience and comfort
- Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: Mon-Fri (4-10s or 5-8s)
- No call
- Holiday Expectations: no major
- RTO: Manager approval
- Shift times: 10h 7a-5:30 or 8-5
- Schedule cycle (how many weeks): weekly
