PURPOSE:
Lincoln University of Missouri seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Psychology starting in August 2025. The area of specialization in Psychology is open, but the successful applicant will be able to teach a variety of psychology courses and is expected to involve students in their research program. Candidates with expertise in areas that could contribute to the growth of the program and/or lead to interdisciplinary collaboration with other programs across campus are also strongly encouraged to apply. For advanced
candidates, rank and years toward tenure will be considered at the time of hire.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The position requires the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, involve undergraduate students in research and university service.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A research program that also involves students is an expectation of the successful candidate, as well as service to the university in other areas such as committee work and grant-writing. Opportunities for teaching in graduate degree programs in areas related to Psychology may arise.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related area. ABDs are welcome to apply. Experience teaching at the college level, preferably in environments with student populations of diverse backgrounds, is preferred. Experience obtaining grants or other forms of external program funding is also desirable.
