In this role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be professionally accountable for the care provided to your assigned patients and will assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate patient care is essential. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information are key responsibilities. Position Details:Sign-On Bonus for Night Shift:
- Graduate Nurse: $10,000
- Experienced Nurse: $13,000
Surgical Registered Nurse
Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, Night shifts
Location: Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO 63028
The surgical unit at Mercy Jefferson offers comprehensive, interdisciplinary care for adult patients requiring post-operative surgical attention.
Our patient population includes, but is not limited to:
- General Surgery
- Bariatric Surgery
- Total Joint Replacement
- Fracture Repair
- Urological Procedures
Qualifications:
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: It is your responsibility to secure and maintain a valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license, adhering to all state board of nursing regulations.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
