About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Institutional Client Services Associateto support the operational functions of FCT's Institutional Division. This position plays a key role in delivering high quality and seamless experience for existing retirement plan sponsors and participants, while supporting the ongoing growth of FCT's retirement plan services. NOTE: Candidates must currently reside in Iowa, with preference given to the Des Moines or Dubuque area.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide day-to-day servicing support for employers sponsoring retirement plans (e.g., 401k, 403b).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for participant service requests, such as distributions, account changes and investment-related inquiries.
  • Answer and respond to participant phone calls promptly, while addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism.
  • Track participant requests and resolution.
  • Manage routine checklists with clients.
  • Keep up to date on 401K relevant policies and procedures.
  • Perform activities that create and maintain compliance with ERISA and other regulations.
  • Prepare and support requested sales presentations and proposals.
  • Compile information for reviews, proposals and presentations for existing accounts.

Who You Are

  • Previous experience and knowledge in retirement plan 401(k) administration, financial planning and/or wealth management.
  • ASPPA, CEBS, QPA, CPC or NIPA designations a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational and problem-solving skills.
