CDL A Truck Driver
Home every other week • $1,500–$1,800 weekly • No-touch freight • Regional lanes
Hiring Area: Shreveport, LA 71101
This position runs on a consistent two-week cycle designed to keep drivers moving while still providing scheduled home time every other week. Drivers stay out for planned runs and return on a predictable schedule without constant route changes or last-minute dispatch adjustments.
Freight stays primarily east of I-35 and runs through established lanes across the Southeast, Midwest, and Eastern states. Loads are dry van and 100% no-touch, with a combination of drop and hook and live unload depending on customer locations. Dispatch works to keep drivers in familiar lanes rather than rotating them across the entire country.
Weekly pay for this position ranges from $1,500–$1,800, with detention pay and layover pay available when applicable. Drivers are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days, along with a 401k plan with company match after six months and paid vacation time.
Drivers operate newer model Freightliner and Kenworth equipment with automatic transmissions and inverters installed. Trucks can be taken home if parking is available or parked at approved company locations. Equipment is maintained regularly to minimize downtime and keep drivers running.
Requirements:
Must have Class A CDL
Must have at least 3 months tractor-trailer experience
Must meet DOT requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Must pass background and drug screening
