We aim to create an atmosphere of care, luxury, and transformation. We are now seeking a passionate Massage Therapist to join our team and contribute to the holistic well-being of our clients through exceptional touch therapy and client experience.
Position Summary
As the Massage Therapist, you will deliver professional massage services that align with our high standards of client care and the spa’s aesthetic (clean, calm, therapeutic). You will work with clients who are looking for relaxation, stress relief, or supportive wellness services, complementing our skin-care and body-treatments offerings. You will help enhance their experience, promote well-being, and support their overall journey with our spa.
Key Responsibilities

Provide a variety of massage modalities (such as Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, possibly sports or prenatal if applicable) in accordance with spa protocols and client needs.

Conduct brief client intake/assessment before each session to understand the client’s health status, goals, preferences, and contraindications.

Tailor each session to individual client needs.

Maintain a clean, calming, and professional treatment room environment: ensure the table, linens, tools and supplies are organized and sanitized.

Educate clients (as appropriate) about massage benefits, after-care recommendations and how it complements their other wellness/skin treatments.

Build rapport with clients, encourage return visits, and contribute to a positive client-experience culture in the spa.

Collaborate with the spa team (aesthetician(s), front desk, management) to coordinate bookings, special packages, and upsells (when appropriate) in a respectful, client-first manner.

Uphold strict client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining discretion and professionalism when handling all client information and treatment documentation.

Adhere strictly to all safety, health, and sanitation regulations and license requirements.

Maintain client records and treatment notes, manage time-efficient appointments, and help maintain scheduling standards.
Qualifications & Skills

Valid Massage Therapist license in the State of Michigan.

Minimum 2 years of professional massage therapy experience in a spa, wellness center or medical‐spa environment (spa experience preferred).

Knowledge of massage modalities, contraindications, body mechanics, and hygiene/sanitation best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to build trust, listen to client needs, and explain treatments clearly.

Strong organizational habits: punctual, reliable, manages treatment room turnover efficiently.

Comfortable working in a team environment with other wellness/spa professionals.
