Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available to cover a Maternity Leave from late January through the end of the school year. This contract opportunity is based in Hayward, CA, serving an elementary school caseload. The role offers a valuable chance to provide specialized speech and language services in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment and therapy services for students on an elementary school caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience as an SLP in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and intervention strategies
- Ability to manage a diverse elementary school caseload effectively
