Title: Lab Technician

Location: Sparks, MD
Pay Rate: $18.55/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM (40 hours/week)
Overtime: As required to meet business needs

Job Overview

The Lab Technician supports the manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products in a regulated laboratory environment. This role is responsible for laboratory maintenance, documentation support, and preparation of materials used in production batches to ensure compliance with specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain laboratory supplies and glassware
• Build panels and dispense bottles for production use
• Operate laboratory equipment including glass washers, dryers, and autoclaves
• Create and maintain label files using established templates
• Assist with the removal and proper disposal of chemical waste
• Prepare solutions, powders, and liquids to meet batch specifications
• Support training activities for onboarding and new or updated procedures
• Follow established procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Adhere to all housekeeping and safety policies and procedures
• Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience

• High school diploma with a technical certification in laboratory operations and 1 year of laboratory experience, or
• Associate’s degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year of laboratory experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline

• Proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, analyze charts, follow simple diagrams, and perform basic arithmetic
