Job DescriptionSalary: $45,000 to $55,000

Job Summary

Video Editor is responsible for assembling, editing, and enhancing video content to create high-quality, engaging visuals. Editor requires proficiency in video editing software, strong storytelling abilities, and attention to detail. Close collaboration with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure the final product aligns with the projects vision and meets technical and creative standards. Projects include programs, spots, roll-ins and various social media content.


Essential Functions

  • Video Editing of Network programs, spots, roll-ins, promos, holiday campaigns, product offers, special presentations, movies, series and new station announcements
  • Delivery of completed video assets from production department to traffic, programming, and engineering departments
  • Strong attention to detail with precision in cuts, transitions, and syncing audio to maintain a polished final product in edits.
  • In studio and remote multicam video shoots

Other Duties

  • Editor is responsible for adding closed captions to network programming, ensuring accuracy, synchronization, and compliance with broadcast standards.
  • Maintain Project Management and asset organization.
  • Operate studio camera, floor director, CG Graphics, Teleprompter and various other areas of production when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in media production or a related field preferred.
  • Adobe Content Creator preferred
  • Church or Ministry Experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud video editing software such as Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential. Clear understanding and ability to implement feedback from clients or supervisors.
  • Motor Vehicle Operation: This position may require you to use company vehicles.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and adapt in editing technique as technology evolves.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design of lower thirds, titles, and overlays.
  • Strong attention to detail with precision in cuts, transitions, and syncing audio to maintain a polished final product.
  • Knowledge of various video compression standards such as H.264, ProRes, Mxf for output to various platforms.
  • Ability to composite green screen footage effectively and create realistic visual effects.
  • Ability to customize video content for optimal performance across various social media platforms.
