Job Description
Join a growing and established furniture retailer as an Accounting Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close activities, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and documentation
- Support payroll processing and employee expense reporting
- Work closely with operations, sales, and management teams to ensure financial accuracy
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in retail, furniture, or consumer products industries preferred
