Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Licensed Physical Therapist

Our organization is on the lookout for a Licensed Physical Therapist to become a vital part of our dedicated team in the Jackson area. As a significant contributor to our Healthcare & Medical Services division, you will deliver expert, hands-on treatment with a focus on hand therapy, upper extremity rehabilitation, and orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality, individualized therapy aimed at functional recovery and long-term wellness.
  • Manage a varied outpatient caseload, including post-surgical hand and upper extremity patients, orthopedic injuries, and both chronic and acute pain conditions.
  • Employ a mix of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education to facilitate optimal recovery.
  • Work closely with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, communicate patient progress, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Accurately document evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in our electronic medical record system, adhering to professional, legal, and payer standards.
  • Engage in case discussions, informal consultations, and ongoing learning opportunities with colleagues to foster a collaborative and patient-centered clinic culture.

Working Conditions

This position is primarily on-site, requiring a consistent presence in the clinic to provide direct, hands-on treatment and to cultivate lasting relationships with patients and the local community.
