Job DescriptionCNC Set-up Operator
The CNC Set-up Operator organizes and sets up the manufacturing equipment to produce various finished goods.
Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and make program adjustments on CNC and fabrication equipment to produce parts accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with fabrication drawings
* Verify materials, work order information, and first-piece samples to ensure specifications, quality standards, and production requirements are met before and during fabrication
* Follow work orders, packing instructions, system notes, and daily preventative maintenance procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment
* Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, support on-time order completion, and assist with material handling duties, including forklift operation when certified and authorized
Required Skills & Experience:
* 1-2 years or experience in CNC Set-up and machine operation
* Ability to read blueprints and measure parts
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm
* Understanding of CNC machines, square, tape measure, scales, etc.
Preferred Skill & Experience:
* Experience with HAAS machines
