About Ultimate Roofing
Ultimate Roofing is looking for a dependable, organized, and experienced Part-Time Project Manager to help coordinate roofing and exterior construction projects throughout Altoona, PA, and the surrounding communities.
We are seeking someone with construction knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to keep projects organized from start to finish. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with subcontractor crews, coordinating materials, communicating with homeowners, and ensuring projects meet our quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with roofing or construction experience who is looking for a part-time position with a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate roofing and exterior construction projects from start to completion.
- Communicate with subcontractor crews to confirm schedules, job details, and project expectations.
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and cleanliness.
- Verify that crews are completing work according to the approved scope of work.
- Coordinate material deliveries and help resolve material or scheduling issues.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project progress and questions.
- Identify jobsite problems, document issues, and work with management to resolve them.
- Take jobsite photos and maintain accurate project records.
- Help ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards.
- Keep management informed of project updates, delays, and any concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous roofing, construction, or project management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of residential roofing systems and installation processes is a plus.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors or construction crews is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify workmanship issues and follow up on corrections.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
- Comfortable using a smartphone to take photos, communicate, and document project progress.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
Compensation & Opportunity
- $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
