The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the overall success and profitability of the dealership’s sales operations. This position is responsible for leading, motivating, and developing the sales team to achieve and exceed performance goals while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development:
    Recruit, train, and mentor sales associates to build a high-performing, customer-focused team. Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.

  • Sales Performance Management:
    Establish and monitor sales targets, performance metrics, and individual goals. Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the staff.

  • Customer Experience:
    Ensure an exceptional customer journey from early manager involvement through purchase and post-sale follow-up. Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term relationship building.

  • Inventory & Merchandising:
    Collaborate with upper management to optimize inventory mix, pricing strategies, and display standards that align with market demand and dealership objectives.

  • Process & Compliance Oversight:
    Maintain adherence to dealership policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Ensure all sales processes are executed with integrity and transparency.

  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the finance, service, and marketing departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of dealership goals.

  • Market Awareness:
    Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure the dealership remains a leader in the pre-owned luxury segment.
