Job Description
This entry-level role focuses on painting small valves in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform highly repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency. If you demonstrate strong reliability, good attendance, and the ability to learn, you will have the opportunity to train on additional duties and expand your responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
- Paint small valves according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Perform repetitive production tasks with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow work instructions and safety guidelines in a manufacturing and heat treat facility.
- Support general production activities such as basic labor and assembly as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow.
- Handle and move materials safely, potentially including the use of forklifts if trained and authorized.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting production goals.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support continuous operations.
- Participate in training to learn additional duties and expand skills as opportunities arise.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Proven history of good attendance and reliability.
- Basic math skills to support production and quality tasks.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfort working in a general production and warehouse setting.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with painting in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in general labor, assembly, or warehouse work.
- Exposure to forklift operations in a production setting.
- Interest in learning new tasks and taking on additional responsibilities.
- No formal education or specific certifications required for this position.

Work Environment
This role is based in a heat treat facility, working in a climate-controlled, comfortable room. You will operate in a fast-paced manufacturing and general production setting that may include warehouse and assembly activities. The environment emphasizes safety, consistency, and teamwork, with structured processes and equipment appropriate for painting and handling small valves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
