Job DescriptionSeeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Operations to lead and manage the daily operational functions across all clinic locations. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high standards of patient care, and fostering a strong culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
The Regional Director of Operations will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and work closely with physician leadership, site managers, and MSO (Management Services Organization) stakeholders to drive operational excellence, physician satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Oversight
- Oversee daily operations across all clinic sites, ensuring efficiency and consistency in front desk, call center, referral coordination, surgical scheduling, digital patient engagement, and medical records management.
- Supervise key operational departments, including:
- Orthopedic and Physical Therapy front desk operations
- Patient Care Coordinators
- Appointment schedulers
- Surgical Coordinators
- Medical Assistants
- Physical Therapists
- X-ray department
- Lead and manage facility maintenance and infrastructure support across all locations.
- Monitor clinical and administrative performance, providing guidance, training, and coaching to staff and site managers.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Partner with the Vice President of Operations and principal physicians to shape and implement long-term operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive new initiatives to improve provider experience, patient satisfaction, financial performance, and departmental cohesion.
- Serve as a key liaison between the practice and the MSO, collaborating on operations, finance, marketing, and IT functions.
- Actively participate in cross-departmental planning and innovation efforts to align priorities and support scalable growth.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Serve as the Head of Compliance, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain protocols and procedures that support quality assurance, risk management, and operational consistency across all locations.
Culture & Communication
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centric culture rooted in accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Champion interdepartmental communication, transparency, and physician engagement throughout the organization.
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with physicians, clinical teams, administrative staff, and MSO partners.
Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
7-10 years leadership experience in a multi site outpatient or clinical setting
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field.
Orthopedics experience preferred
