Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support students in a dynamic school environment as a per diem paraprofessional in Shasta Lake, CA. This role offers flexible, as-needed shifts to assist children 1:1 in classroom settings, providing meaningful support both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized assistance to students, supporting medical, behavioral, and social needs
• Aid in daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, and mobility
• Support personal care requirements while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning space
• Collaborate closely with teachers and school personnel to tailor support effectively

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old with up-to-date TB test and background clearances (or willingness to obtain before start)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings preferred
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges beneficial
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
