Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our QA team. This role focuses entirely on automation testing, primarily UI with some API testing. The ideal candidate will work with our in-house low-code automation framework and contribute to building robust test strategies and scripts. Training on the proprietary tool will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for testing applications.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to develop test strategies, plans, and cases.
  • Monitor and maintain test environments, ensuring reliable test data and configurations.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Perform UI and API automation testing.
  • Utilize logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
  • Work with message queuing technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
  • Handle data collection and distribution using SNMP and Kafka.
  • Engage with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
  • Operate within Linux environments and virtual machines.
  • Use ticketing systems like Jira for issue tracking.
  • Apply software security principles and patterns in testing processes.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in any programming language (Python preferred, JavaScript is a plus).
  • Experience with UI automation and basic API testing.
  • Familiarity with virtual machines and Linux environments.
  • Understanding of SDLC and automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to logging tools such as Splunk or Datadog.
  • Experience with databases (RDMS and NoSQL) and message queuing systems.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with in-house or low-code automation tools.
  • Knowledge of SNMP and Kafka for data distribution.
  • Background in building APIs and services using REST.
