Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years NICU experience
- Must have Level III experience or above
- No 1st-time travelers
- Must be confident in stabilization and delivery attendance (RN + RT only team)
- Must be skilled in breastfeeding education and couplet care
- Charge experience preferred
- Comfortable in small unit with limited resources
Helpful Experience
Pediatric/PICU background (for float support)
Drip Management
RNs do not titrate drips
Charge Nurse / House Supervisor
Yes – may take small patient load if needed
Support Staff
No nurse aides
Neonatologist Coverage
Available 24/7 (not in-house)
RT Equipment / Respiratory Care
Rarely vented; if vented → transfer within 24 hrs. Must be comfortable with HFNC and CPAP
Telemetry
Phillips monitors (tele + fetal); nurses monitor own strips
Smoke-Free Policy:
All drug screens must be negative for nicotine/cotinine.
- If positive, may be reviewed only if traveler is prescribed a nicotine patch.
- Any positive result without legitimate cause → contract cancellation.

- EPIC experience? (Yes/No; if Yes, when last used)

- All RTO must be submitted at time of submission — No RTO approvals after presentation.
