Responsibilities:
- Provide Exceptional Care: Conduct routine patient assessments and deliver high-quality nursing care for pediatric patients.
- Administer Treatments: Administer medications, vaccines, and perform lab draws with precision and care.
- Support Providers: Assist providers and other nursing staff during patient exams and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Triage Duties: Perform triage duties, including evaluating symptoms over the phone and advising families on appropriate next steps.
- Accurate Documentation: Document patient care and interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Family Education: Educate families on health issues, treatments, and preventive care, empowering them with knowledge.
- Appointment Coordination: Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments and procedures, ensuring continuity of care.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients and their families.
- Team Collaboration: Be a team player and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current NC RN or LPN license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a pediatric or healthcare setting preferred.
- Triage Skills: Experience with phone triage and patient assessments is a plus.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with children and parents.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
- Efficiency: Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and excel in a team setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and flexibility.

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Extended Hours: One day per week required to work until 7:00 PM
- Weekends: No weekends required
