Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to join our team. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for monitoring construction activities to ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable standards. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with contractors, project managers, and agencies throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify completion of punch list items prior to project closeout.
- Confirm projects meet final specifications and contract requirements before approval.
- Assist with final inspections and project acceptance.
- Coordinate and schedule various phases of construction with the prime contractor and other agencies.
- Review and monitor contractors’ plans of operation and advise contractors of any violations, recommending adjustments when necessary.
- Coordinate changes to construction plans to address field conditions.
- Perform field measurements of pay items and coordinate material testing.
- Inspect and verify construction equipment used on-site.
- Maintain and review comprehensive project records including:

- Material records and testing documentation
- Field notebooks and as-built plans
- Pay quantity records
- Progress schedules
- Work orders and monthly estimates
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction inspection, civil construction, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and field inspection procedures
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project teams
- Proficiency with construction documentation and reporting
