Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Platte Canyon School District, located in Bailey, Colorado. This role serves students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade and offers a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students, providing a balanced and fulfilling professional experience.
Position Details:
- Location: Bailey, CO (Platte Canyon School District)
- Student population: PK-12
- Caseload: 30 students
- Schedule: 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday)
- Hours: 32 hours per week
- Contract Period: August 10 to June 4
Required Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification (ASHA CCC-SLP or equivalent)
- Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if applicable
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to design and implement speech and language therapy services
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings
