Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing essential speech and language services to children from Pre-K through 12th grade. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours (7 hours per day). You’ll engage with students with mild to moderate needs across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity, making a positive impact throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children (PreK–12) with mild/moderate language and communication needs
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students (caseload and exact locations to be confirmed)
- Up-to-date fingerprinting clearance or ability to complete the required fingerprint process (including AHCA Clearinghouse verification and JLA badge application)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to working exclusively onsite (remote/VOCO positions not available for this contract)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy as outlined in students’ IEPs across multiple campuses
- Complete comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP planning and meetings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure holistic student support
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions within the district
