As a Production Worker, you will stand throughout your shift to monitor machines that produce chocolate, and fill boxes with the finished product. When not occupied with machinery or packaging, you will be expected to clean or complete other productive tasks. The job can be fairly slow-paced at times. You will be involved in mixing, batching, panning, and packing, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor machines making chocolate
- Fill boxes with the finished product
- Clean and perform other productive tasks when machinery is not in use
- Mix, batch, pan, and pack products
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operating, or blending
- Drive to advance within the company
- At least 4 years of manufacturing experience within the last year
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Team player
- Ability to stay busy during slow work periods
- References must be completed
- No food allergies or restrictions on wearing jewelry, fake nails, or fake eyelashes

Work Environment
This food manufacturing facility adheres to all health and safety guidelines and is clean and well-lit. You will need to move at a fast pace and stand for long periods. Contractors must wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The environment can get dusty due to the product manufactured, and the facility is climate-controlled but can reach up to 100 degrees from the heat of machinery and ovens. Some packaging lines are in cooler areas, around 52 degrees.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
