Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in New Mexico is seeking a qualified Audiologist to provide per diem, on-call support for their Special Education teams. This position is primarily virtual and offers flexible hours, making it well-suited for professionals looking for part-time work within an educational setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing audiology reports for Special Education teams to ensure accuracy and applicability
- Assisting in the development of individualized education program (IEP) goals related to audiology as needed
- Collaborating with school staff and families to support students hearing and communication needs
- Providing consultation and guidance to enhance educational outcomes for students with hearing challenges
This role requires:
- Valid professional and educator credentials in Audiology
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Navajo (Din) is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Availability to provide consultation support on an as-needed basis with minimal scheduled hours
