Job Summary
As a Pharmacist at Rxpress Pharmacy, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications in compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role requires independent judgment, strong clinical knowledge, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. You’ll work closely with patients, providers, and pharmacy staff to support optimal therapeutic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately
- Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, interactions, and completeness
- Provide clear and compassionate counseling to patients on medication use and side effects
- Advise physicians and healthcare providers on drug interactions and therapeutic alternatives
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain accurate medication records
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Pharmacist license in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
- 2–5 years of experience in retail or clinical pharmacy preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Demonstrated business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and community engagement
