Job DescriptionInternal Medicine - Physician Opportunity at Our Organization

We are currently looking for both Full-time and Part-time Primary Care Physicians to deliver comprehensive medical services to veterans through the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model. Physicians will be responsible for conducting evaluations, diagnostics, and interventions while working alongside multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient health outcomes. This role comes with competitive salaries, a range of benefits, and access to education debt reduction programs.

Our organization is eager to fill various Full-time and Part-time Primary Care physician roles across the New England region. We encompass eight well-established medical centers and community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) located in West Haven, Connecticut; Bedford, Massachusetts; Boston, Massachusetts; Leeds, Massachusetts; Augusta, Maine; Manchester, New Hampshire; Providence, Rhode Island; and White River Junction, Vermont.

We lead the VHA's Primary Care initiative by implementing the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model, which utilizes evidence-based standardized healthcare practices to maximize the unique strengths of each discipline within the team. Our goal is to empower patients to take control of their health and well-being by providing complementary and integrative healthcare approaches that foster self-empowerment, self-healing, and self-care. With smaller patient panels, a diverse range of support services, and virtual care options, we offer greater flexibility for patients to engage in their healthcare journey.

Our dedicated Primary Care Physicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to veterans in the New England area. The salary range for this position is between $225,000 and $265,000 annually.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical interventions, including thorough patient assessments, health histories, physical examinations, and patient education within the Primary Care team framework.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient, service, and medical center objectives, while promoting and embracing the PACT model of care and upholding the values of Integrity, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence (ICARE) throughout the clinic.
  1. Candidates must possess and maintain a full, unrestricted medical license.
  2. Board Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

We provide a comprehensive benefits package and total rewards for our employees. Explore the VHA Physician Total Rewards.

Our organization is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
