Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes and systems to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality. This role involves applying engineering principles to design, implement, and optimize production operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve workflow.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify and solve process-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain production planning schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Conduct Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and control production processes.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on production issues to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee precision machining operations and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Train and mentor production staff on best practices in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Process Improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with production planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Proficient in Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods.
  • Demonstrated ability in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experience with precision machining and CNC operations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
