Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging - Sonographer with at least 1 year of specialty experience and a current ME or compact license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in an imaging department performing general ultrasound procedures
- Variable 40-hour workweek with potential Saturday shifts
- No on-call requirements
- Flu vaccination required for start dates after 9/30/2024, with medical exemptions reviewed upon request and requiring two weeks for approval
- Travelers must have a permanent address at least 100 miles South/Southwest of EMMC in Bangor, ME
- Professional attire or scrubs as specified by department policy
- Must not submit as a travel pair to the same position

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Sonographer
- Current compact or ME state license required if applicable
- Copies of all certifications are required for consideration
- Two references within the past year, with at least one from a supervisor, manager, director, or charge nurse
- Driver’s license required
- Full SSN required for consideration
- Candidates must have never worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity
