Technical Source is looking for several Cleanroom Technicians to join our clients team in Durham, NC. The essential duties, responsibilities, and qualifications are as follows:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly and packaging of high-purity components within a controlled cleanroom environment.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), cleanroom protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct visual inspections for quality assurance and identify any defects or non-conformities.
- Clean and maintain cleanroom workstations and tools in accordance with established procedures.
- Accurately document production data, batch records, and inspection results.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of cleanroom materials and supplies.
- Maintain compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or cleanroom experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience working in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment (biotech, pharma, or semiconductor industry a plus).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures precisely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom gowning environment with strict cleanliness standards.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts and tools.
Working Conditions:
- Must wear cleanroom attire (gown, gloves, mask, etc.) for extended periods.
- Standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Shift work may be required depending on production needs
