The salary range provided may differ based on specialty, experience, education, and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities of a Podiatrist:

  • Assess and treat ailments affecting the foot, ankle, and lower limbs, including injuries, deformities, and chronic conditions.

  • Conduct medical procedures and surgeries, such as bunion corrections, fracture treatments, and the removal of ingrown toenails or infections.

  • Recommend treatments, including medications, orthotics, physical therapy, and preventive care strategies to enhance mobility and foot health.

  • Provide education to patients regarding foot care, injury prevention, and management of conditions related to diabetes, arthritis, and circulation problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working independently, as well as with podiatrists trained in wound care within a hospital environment.

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Podiatry.

  • Possession of an active New York Medical License.
