IES Test Company with Payroll is seeking a Product Designer to design and improve user experiences for our products in a fast-paced, onsite environment in Sunnyvale.
Position Summary
As a Product Designer, you will translate customer needs and business goals into clear, compelling product experiences. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to shape end-to-end design solutions—from early discovery through polished execution.
This is a full-time onsite role based at 182 Acalanes Dr, Sunnyvale, CA 94086-1814, where you will help ensure design decisions are user-centered, consistent, and measurable.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct user research, gather insights, and define design opportunities to inform product direction

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate interaction and visual intent

Partner with product and engineering teams to refine requirements, resolve design trade-offs, and support implementation

Develop and maintain design standards to ensure usability, consistency, and accessibility across product surfaces

Evaluate design outcomes using feedback and performance signals, iterating to improve user experience
Required Qualifications

Experience designing product experiences with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking

Proficiency creating wireframes, prototypes, and polished visual designs suitable for stakeholder review

Strong understanding of user-centered design practices and ability to translate insights into usable solutions

Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate design rationale clearly

Demonstrated attention to usability, accessibility, and detail in design execution
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in agile, product-focused environments with iterative delivery

Familiarity with design systems and contributing to reusable UI patterns

Experience conducting user testing and incorporating findings into improved product designs

Comfort collaborating with engineers to ensure designs are implementable and aligned with product goals
Compensation
Annual salary: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00
