Medical Assistants are vital members of healthcare teams, supporting physicians and nurses by handling both clinical and administrative tasks. They work in hospitals, clinics, and private practices to ensure smooth patient care and office operations.
️⚕️ Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:

Prepare patients for exams and procedures

Take and record vital signs and medical histories

Assist physicians during physical exams

Administer medications and injections under supervision

Collect and prepare lab specimens

Perform basic lab tests

Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of exam rooms and equipment
Administrative Duties:

Schedule patient appointments

Manage patient records and update electronic health systems

Verify insurance and handle billing inquiries

Transcribe doctors’ notes into digital records

Respond to patient questions and provide instructions
Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Education & Certification

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
