Tri-Arc has immediate openings for 2nd Shift Assembly & Paint Line Technicians, Monday to Friday,2:30 pm to 10:30 pm (may change to 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm). These are full-time positions, and Tri-Arc offers a competitive starting rate along with a generous benefit package, opportunity for career growth, and the ability to join the United Steelworkers Union after a probationary period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, challenging work and wants to gain high-quality manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Assemble products by bolting, clipping, screwing, cementing, and fastening parts together
- Tend machines such as nut drivers and riveting machines to perform force-fitting and fastening operations
- Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
- Spray-manufactured products with protective coating, powder, and paint
- Operate spray guns filled with paint, powder, and other liquids to coat products
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and finish standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Alternate between assembly and paint line operations as production needs require
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications:
- 6+ months of general labor or manufacturing experience
- Experience with hand tools (drills, grinders, etc.) is helpful but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, or sit for extended periods of time
- Must be capable of working in environments with extreme hot or cold temperatures
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
