Rhoden Roofing is seeking a Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist to lead our hiring efforts and manage onboarding plans for every new team member.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, people-oriented, and motivated by helping others succeed from day one. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process (job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers)
- Collaborate with department leaders to define role requirements and hiring priorities
- Create and maintain structured onboarding plans for all new hires across departments
- Coordinate new employee orientation and ensure smooth integration into the team
- Track candidate pipelines, recruiting metrics, and onboarding progress
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Partner with leadership to enhance employer branding and recruiting strategies
- Support retention initiatives and gather feedback from new employees during their first 90 days
- Serve as the go-to resource for candidates and new hires throughout the recruiting and onboarding journey
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Ability to build relationships with candidates and team members at all levels
- Proficiency with recruiting platforms, ATS systems, and onboarding tools (experience with Monday.com or JobNimbus a plus)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple open roles and onboarding plans at once
- Knowledge of HR compliance and hiring best practices preferred
