Job Title: RN – Oncology (Contract)
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts – Nights
Gross Hourly Approx Pay: $65 to $70/hr
Position Summary:
The Clinical Nurse (RN) provides safe, high-quality care to oncology patients in a hospital setting, incorporating evidence-based practices and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE Oncology experience
- MUST HAVE BMT/CAR-T experience
- MUST HAVE BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- MUST HAVE at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Active New York State RN License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- EPIC experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care for oncology and BMT/CAR-T patients.
- Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols.
