Job Title: Labeling Specialist / Label Design Analyst
Location: Plymouth, MN (100% On-Site, Monday–Friday)
Duration: 1-Year Contract (with conversion or extensions)
Rate: $25 – $27/hr (W2)
Benefits: 401(k) with 4% company match
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Labeling Specialist to support labeling and UDI (Unique Device Identification) activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for creating, modifying, and managing product labels and associated documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and medical device requirements. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience working in regulated environments, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities

Create and modify product labels and labeling materials in accordance with established design formats and regulatory requirements

Manage labeling and UDI change processes within document management systems

Process documentation change orders to create or revise labeling content

Analyze and resolve labeling and UDI inconsistencies to meet project timelines and compliance requirements

Manage UDI master data and workflows through internal IT systems

Perform analysis and audits of labeling and UDI data to support regulatory compliance

Engage and collaborate with cross-functional project teams (local and remote) to support labeling needs

Facilitate end-user training and assist in resolving business and technical issues

Analyze and interpret large data sets and identify corrective actions

Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), RDA, and worldwide regulatory requirements

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to company policies and operating procedures
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
(Associate’s degree acceptable with 5+ years of labeling experience)

2–5 years of relevant experience

Experience working in a regulated environment (manufacturing, quality, medical device, etc.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and shifting priorities

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and in team-based environments
Preferred Qualifications

Label design experience using Loftware, Bartender, and/or enLabel
-
Experience with document control systems, particularly Windchill

Design experience using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Photoshop

Manufacturing or medical device environment experience

Portfolio demonstrating labeling or design work
