A well-established property management firm in La Mesa, California is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a potential temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports both HOA and rental property accounting functions. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and experienced in managing complex financial workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Review accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Monitor budgets and assist with forecasting
- Budget preparation support
- Journal entries, corrections, and credit adjustments
- Vendor updates
- Invoice processing, check printing, and document uploads
- HOA loan setup and inquiries
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in property management platforms (CINC, AppFolio preferred)
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in property management accounting is a plus
