We are a patient-focused audiology practice seeking a dependable and motivated Audiology Assistant to support our in-office team and remote audiologists. This role is ideal for candidates interested in healthcare, patient care, or allied health careers who enjoy hands-on work and patient interaction.


You will assist with hearing evaluations, hearing aid demonstrations, patient flow, and administrative tasks. No audiology experience required; healthcare or medical office experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients; confirm appointments and insurance information
  • Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and testing areas
  • Assist audiologists during hearing evaluations (training provided)
  • Support diagnostic testing under supervision (otoscopy, audiometry assistance, tympanometry support)
  • Help patients understand procedures and ensure comfort during visits
  • Assist with hearing aid demonstrations, basic troubleshooting, and patient education
  • Track hearing aid orders and coordinate fittings and pickups
  • Make outbound calls to schedule patients when appointments are available
  • Collect patient payments and process point-of-service transactions
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient records (HIPAA compliance)
  • Clean and maintain equipment and reset rooms between patients
  • Support outreach and referral relationship activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Healthcare, medical office, or patient-facing experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and medical software
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow structured protocols
  • Interest in healthcare, audiology, or allied health careers
  • Ability to multitask in a patient environment
