We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead customer relationship development and drive growth across multiple verticals in the e-beam manufacturing space. This individual will play a key role in managing and mentoring a team of hunters and subject matter experts, collaborating closely with marketing to deliver meaningful content, and ensuring our sales funnel is well-nurtured and efficiently managed. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with a winning attitude, able to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve ambitious goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
· Build, nurture, and expand long-term relationships with key customers to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth.
· Oversee hunters and SMEs across multiple verticals, providing coaching, motivation, and guidance to maximize performance.
· Partner with marketing to create targeted, high-value content and campaigns that support lead generation and customer engagement.
· Track activities and customer information in CRM database.
· Identify new business opportunities, develop strategies to engage prospects, and maintain accurate prospecting pipelines.
· Provide market insights by staying informed about competitors and monitoring market trends and developments.
· Monitor and manage all stages of the sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate forecasting, and measurable results.
· Demonstrate a positive, resilient, and winning attitude while fostering the same across the team.
· Work independently to achieve goals, while also engaging with cross-functional teams to align strategies and share best practices.
· Participate in industry meetings, conferences and trade shows.
Requirements:
· Proven track record of success in sales management, ideally within e-beam, high-tech manufacturing, or related industries.
· Strong understanding of sales funnel management, forecasting, and CRM tools.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience leading and motivating high performing teams.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and technical experts.
· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Education/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
· Background in manufacturing, e-beam, semiconductors, or other high-tech industries strongly preferred.
· Proven ability to manage a full sales funnel from prospecting through closing.
· Strong leadership skills.
· Excellent communicator, relationship builder, and closer.
· Self-starter who works well independently but thrives in collaboration.
· Competitive, driven, and hungry for growth.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
