Join a leading gear and gear-related manufacturing company based in Princeton, Indiana. This role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC/Manual Machine Tools to produce high-quality parts for industries such as steel, bridge, aluminum, aggregate, and mining. You will work with machine brands including Schiess & Hankook, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and machining parameters.
- Program Machine Tools, including setting tools, registers, offsets, and compensations.
- Maintain specifications and quality requirements during various machining tasks.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist in machine repairs.
- Ensure quality by measuring positions on first-run or sample parts.
- Complete required production and maintenance documentation.
- Communicate irregularities and recommendations across shifts.
- Care for and maintain machine tools, work areas, and all related equipment and supplies.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in machining, CNC programming, lathe and milling operations.
- Ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Experience in using CAM systems for program validation.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and process adjustments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- College Level Certificate in CNC Machining.
- Significant CNC machine work experience.
- Experience with horizontal or vertical boring mills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in CNC or Precision Machining is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of machining and machine setup.

Work Environment
Work in a large machine shop where steel-toed boots are required. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable attire, or you can opt for a uniform service. The role requires physical activity including walking, standing, and lifting during the entire shift. Be prepared for hands-on tasks and on-site presence during working hours.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00/yr.
