Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in a dynamic K-12 educational setting located in Joliet, IL. This role involves delivering specialized speech and language services to students across all grade levels, helping to improve their communication abilities and support their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) reviews.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to address a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in a school environment, preferably with K-12 students.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to manage caseload independently and multitask effectively.
