Position: Nursing, RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hrs/week; Rotating Days/Eves (7a-5:30p, 8a-6:30p, 9a-7:30p), Weekends & Holidays
Pay Rate: $74 – $78 per hour

Purpose of Position:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Nursing, RN – Cardiac Cath Lab for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Utilize nursing process and maintain accurate patient records.

• Document patient assessments throughout admission, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions; communicate care plans to the care team.

• Assume charge nurse and resource nurse responsibilities as needed.

• Demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing informatics.

• Participate in staff meetings, mandatory programs, and professional development activities.

• Adhere to safety, blood/body fluid policies, and hospital procedures.

• Maintain confidentiality and represent the hospital professionally in the community.

• Provide excellent service to patients, families, visitors, volunteers, and co-workers.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Certifications Required:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Massachusetts

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) course

• CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams (pass prior to start)

• Acute Cardiac Unit/Stepdown experience (post-procedure monitoring for PCI, ablation, pacemaker/ICD insertion, TAVR)

• IV administration and telemetry monitoring skills

• Use of lead apron; on-call for off-shift, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cardiovascular interventional nursing experience within the last 5 years

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Critical Care RN (CCRN) or Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN)
