Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Allentown, PA is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. The role requires onsite presence to support the educational and emotional needs of students within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist license
- Experience working in a K-12 educational environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a supportive team structure
