**Qualifications:**
- Certification in medical coding (such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is required.
- Proven experience in medical coding and billing, particularly in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using medical billing and coding software, as well as general office software applications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
