Electrical Lead – Multi‐Family & Custom Single‐Family Residential Construction
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Electrical Lead for an immediate start in North Charleston, SC.
Long‐term opportunity, steady hours, and leadership‐level field work on high‐end residential construction projects!
PAY: $29–$30/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Expected shifts will be 8‐hour days starting at 7:00 AM
SCHEDULE: Expected work will be Monday–Friday; approximately 40–50 hours/week
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: This is anticipated to be a temp‐to‐hire position
Electrical Lead Job Description:
The Electrical Lead will oversee field operations for both multi‐family and custom single‐family residential electrical construction projects. This includes coordinating manpower, leading electricians and apprentices, reviewing drawings, maintaining schedule performance, and ensuring high‐quality installations for rough‐in through finish work. Work will occur in both indoor and outdoor jobsite conditions.
Qualifications for Electrical Lead:
· 5+ years of electrical experience required
· Must have lead experience (Lead Electrician, Crew Lead, or similar)
· Able to manage and direct 5–15 electricians/apprentices on active projects
· Ability to read/interpret blueprints, layouts, and electrical specifications
· Skilled in conduit bending, wire pulls, layout, troubleshooting, and finish installation
· Must be able to coordinate with GCs, inspectors, and other trades
· Strong communication and scheduling skills
· Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
· Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
· Position requires the use of PPE including: steel‐toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and safety vest
· Must bring basic hand tools such as tape measure, screwdrivers, channel‐locks, hammer, and sawzall
Additional Requirements for Electrical Lead:
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must have reliable transportation to the job site
