Purpose or Function of Job:
Provide support with POS, Barcode, and Portable technologies. With proper training, perform as 2nd and 3rd level Technical Support. This role will assist with new business projects, work with sales & marketing team, attend and support Trade Shows, assist and lead in projects that are assigned by Senior Manager.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with Sales for Pre-Sales support on key accounts including direct accounts and non-direct accounts (SI/VAR, Dealers, and ISV)
2. Train VARs, Distributors, and Service Providers.
3. Provide Level 2 & Level 3 Technical Support on whole products.
4. Attend work conferences and trade shows. Responsible for packing tradeshow material, maintain integrity of products shipped to the show, responsible for tradeshow inventory & supplies.
5. Put together demos for trade shows.
6. Hold in critical importance the ability to understand clients’ needs and communicate to them how our CITIZEN printer solutions can benefit them and help them achieve their goals.
7. Will develop and cultivate long-term, reference-able customer relationships.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
· Work with outside vendors to create demos to showcase products at tradeshows.
· Develop materials to highlight different aspects of a product and describe the benefits of making a purchase, for both the consumer and the sales team.
