Now Hiring - Accounting Manager for International Manufacturing Company located in Lake Bluff, IL - must have hands-on, full charge Accounting experience.
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a candidate to take full responsibility for the company's accounting operations. Must be a highly skilled, self-motivated professional with strong general accounting experience with an ability to manage all aspects of accounting independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting duties including A/R, A/P, payroll entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Any experience with product costing, inventory analysis, and margin reporting a plus
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and global finance teams
- Implement and maintain accounting processes and internal controls
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5 + years accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working independently or in a small team
- Strongly prefer candidates coming from a private company and not large corporate
- Proficient in accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
