Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought to support students within a K-8 Meadowood Program designed for learners with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities. This on-site contract position offers an opportunity to apply specialized skills in behavior analysis within a dynamic educational environment in Newark, DE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and monitor progress to adjust strategies as required.
- Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with program standards.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware licensure; school experience is preferred.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working with students who have moderate to severe cognitive abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Commitment to supporting diverse learner populations in a school setting.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Newark, Delaware.
- Full-time contract role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Typical hours from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
- Contract duration: ASAP start through June 12, 2026.
