Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU) position at a hospital in Albany, NY, requiring 2 years of specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

- Located at a major medical center in Albany, NY
- Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU) setting
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a progressive critical care or equivalent specialty setting
- Epic EMR experience required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
- All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
- US Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
- Flu vaccination required; only medically documented exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted (personal or religious exemptions are not accepted)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside outside of the following counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington (50-mile radius rule applies)
- ICU unit candidates must complete and pass a competency test — two attempts are allowed
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- More than 3 call-outs during a 13-week contract may result in termination; any required make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
- Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
